The former Green Bay Packers head coach has been hired by Jerry Jones, and the Dallas Cowboys just days after the announced firing of Jason Garrett.

McCarthy won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers in 2011 while compiling a 125-77-2 overall coaching record.  He is widely praised for his ability to develop the Quarterback position, and imaginative, high-octane offensive approach.

He’ll be walking into a Cowboys team stocked full of offensive talent with Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, Michael Gallup, Amari Cooper, and arguably the best offensive line in Professional Football.  How will he fare?
